Knowing the world was watching, especially in the U.S. where the FDA gave its approval and physicians were eagerly awaiting more information from company sales reps, the launch event for the new vaccine had to come off without a hitch. Every single sales rep had to be completely certified over the three-day launch meeting and ready to meet with physicians the following day.

UNISON was brought in because of its proven track record of speed, accuracy and delivery of real-time data capture and reporting in large-scale certifications.

In short, the UNISON team was tasked with certifying 2000 reps split between three physician groups. This included customized content for standardized workshops and certification exercises spread across 58 breakout rooms in two hotels, complete with live and taped broadcasts and 30 training hours of UNISON-delivered activities implemented flawlessly.
Launch 2 Because UNISON streamlines the certification process, it allowed business managers to focus their time on coaching rather than on facilitating. This additional coaching time made a big difference in preparing the reps to hit the ground running.

Unique to UNISON is its ability to capture data from participants in real time and compile the data instantaneously for viewing by management.

In this case, UNISON was able to pull out trend data from participant questions within a half-hour. A total of 887 questions were received during the first two simultaneous workshops. These questions revealed to management an unexpected concern on three major issues relating to the new vaccine.
Launch 3Because these misunderstandings by a large portion of the reps could be critical to successful field deployment, management acted quickly by implementing a major on-the-spot course correction. This was conducted in a voluntary on-the-fly general session, attended by 700 of the 1,000 sales reps in that particular sales group. Speaking on behalf of his team, one senior manager credited the UNISON team with helping avert a potential "embarrassing and disastrous situation."
The entire sales force left the meeting with the skills, knowledge and confidence to succeed. Likewise, management had the confidence based on accurate UNISON-generated real-time data that everyone was ready to carry out its mission and goals for the new vaccine.
