Two
for the price of one – team and individual
polling
Anonymous
individual instant polling is now part of the UNISON
package. You've always had the ability to check the pulse
of table teams using the U-Select function. Now you can double-check
individual audience members to be certain that your meeting
and their commitment is not heading down the road to Abilene.
Team and individual polling – anonymously and instantly! Ask for a demo of
the new individual polling capability.
Are you ready for U-Play?
We now have game modules that you can use for motivation, educational reinforcement,
and competitions at your meetings. Games heighten awareness. Games are entertaining
and give your participants a pleasant break from the intensity of your meeting.
Games reinforce key
objectives. Research indicates that when content is part
of a game, participant retention of subject matter is longer. Ask for a demo
of our different game modules.
UNISON is Hi Tech and very Hi Touch!

in "Hi-Touch,
Hi-Tech," published in Insurance Conference Planner Magazine. |

In
recent UNISON supported training sessions, touch
screen kiosks were added as knowledge check stations. After
registration, participants were directed to the UNISON kiosks
where they took self-assessments to test their knowledge acquisition
delivered on line during the weeks and months leading up to the
training session. The kiosk scores were added to the pre-event
test scores and displayed on leader boards.
These kiosks accomplished three objectives: 1) validating the knowledge
transfer of the pre-event training modules 2) Red-flagging any knowledge
'gaps' for further reinforcement during the training sessions and,
3) creating a competitive environment.
The UNISON touch-screen kiosks can be an integral part of a UNISON
supported meeting or as standalone units. For instance, participants
can post questions to presenters in a meeting with multi-track sessions.
The questions are recorded, logged and distributed to the correct presenters
who can answer the question during a particular track session or after
the event. Or the kiosk can be a survey station asking participants
to record their reactions to the meeting – all logged and recorded
for post meeting analysis. The kiosks can be used as ordering stations
for copies of presentation materials, and company literature – again
recorded and logged for post meeting mailing, analysis and follow-up.
The uses are limitless.

Polling – It’s
a good idea to have a simple graphic-slide ready (theme
logo with numbers 1 through 5 would do) to conduct a quick “check” of
your audience, particularly if you sense resistance to,
or misunderstanding of, the topic.
Wireless technology – Remember using wireless
technology means signals take longer to reach the processor.
If you have a choice, choose wired over wireless. |
